my boiler has a yellow flame when under loaad. shouldn't it be blue? my carbon monoxide alarm just went off!

sounds similar to my posting on monday. i was advised to check for a blockage in the header feed pipe. i checked it and it was fine. have just turned it all back on to see what happens???

i drained some water from my system and the water level in the header tank went down, i guess this means there's no blockage? so what caused the strange bubbling noises?

my wife is now saying that the bubbling noise first started after she had run the kids a bath???

the heating is off. The boiler is on, has been in use all summer. Haven't checked for a blockage yet, cant get into the loft without waking the kids. Will have a look tomorrow. Do you think i should turn the boiler off? This problem only occurred today when i put the heating on. It hasnt...

Hey Chris, my wife has just shouted me, the radiator upstairs (there's only one) in the bathroom is hot and yet downstairs they are cool? The heating is not even on! What's that about? :wink:
