    Hi, i have a slate patio in the back garden which looks fantastic although it looks even better when it has rained and the slate is wet. I was wondering if there was any application i could apply to the patio to give it an all year round wet look? Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for the advise LooPrEvil. the existing flags give a nice level surface to lay the slate on. a couple of the flags are loose so i will have to re bed them down prior to laying the slate.

    Alternatively you could try a pipe freezing kit. Saves the drain down and re-fill. It does what it says on the tin.
