    thanks endecolp for your help and ban all sheds your nothing more than a forum troll, as i told you what wire it is and its not just a regular flex and the only 2.5mm on screwfix are for 15 metres or more when i only need 5 its clearly not a option

    well as i said screwfix etc and the only one on screwfix is a 1.5 mm and i wanted a 2.5mm so you just proved me right good job lol., and to taylor no its staying above ground and i was planning to clip it to the wall

    ok a few more questions why cant you connect a swa cable to a rcd plug and the plug im plugging the rcd plug into is in doors so are suggesting i end the swa cable outside in a enclosure and then connect a cable from there through the wall to the rcd plug? thanks in advance

    i have purchased this outdoor power kit https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004KL0A8W/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and want to change the cable for 2.5 mm swa cable do i need to use a swa gland where it plugs in to the rcd plug and if so how do i fit it just have it dangling ?

    its a 6mm as far as i know only reason i was asking was im sure i read somewhere if the oven switch has a socket fitted it should be 40 amp

    hi my i have recently bought a new double oven and it states its 11.3kw also there is a plug socket on the oven switch i use at the moment it has a 30 amp mcb fitted i was wondering if it needed a higher one

    hotpoint tripping rcd

    power tripped out yesterday evening tracked it down to the washing machine it was plugged into a extension lead what was on the worktop and i believe some water may have got into it i can not plug the washing machine in without the rcd tripping, i was wondering if you could just cut the plug off...

    i am wanting to run a new cable from my fuse box to the cooker wall switch as the old one is broken, i am wanting to run it around the top part of the wall in pvc trunking from checking the distance etc i will need to use 6mm cable can someone tell me what size trunking i would need i am looking...
