I had a Grohe Smart Control shower installed two years ago. It has three valves. Recently, the hot water has stopped coming through for one of the valves. The other two valves are fine. The boiler is a Worcester combo-boiler. Any suggestions what could be causing this?

Hi Ken, yes it is slightly raised. I purchased it and unfortunately didn’t notice this issue at the time it arrived and it’s now fitted, so not sure how practical it will be to replace it vs. repair?

I have a newly-fitted steel bath. I’ve noticed a yellow spot on the bath (photo attached). White vinegar and scrubbing won’t remove it. Given it’s a brand new bath, I’m concerned about this, could it be a chip/rust or is there a way to remove the discolouration?

The fan operates at 67m3/hr, so based on the above calculations, that’s 6.7 times an hour, for 4 air changes: 4/6.7 * 60 = 35 min, so perhaps the current setting is actually ok?

I have a new bathroom extractor fan, its timer is set by default to continue to run for 35min when turned off. This feels long and it’s a small bathroom, is there a way to calculate how long an extractor fan should run based on the room size?

It’s already a bit stiff when not connected, worse when connected. There doesn’t appear to be a kink. This is the first pneumatic flush I’ve had, so I’m not sure what a reasonable amount of pressure is?

Hi all, I’ve had a Geberit concealed toilet cistern installed with a pneumatic dual-flush button. The flush button is very very difficult to push, once pushed it does flush but it requires a lot of effort. Is this normal for a pneumatic flush button?
