Hello there can someone tell me if i can replace a 45 amp white wall switch with a 20 amp chrome switch for my shower someone said its the same but i do not trust

as far i know the light was working before i moved in 3 months ago i looked behind the switch but appears to have know broken wires. the wires from the outside light are brown and blue but cant find any blue behind the switch
