Basically what to do with the live wires coming out of the wall where the shower is and the pull cord on the ceiling. Should i just snip these off and terminate them in some way.

I'm changing an old electric shower over a bath for some shiny new shower taps. What is the best practice regarding old wiring, pull cord etc.. Any advice much appreciated.
