    BAXI WM 38/RS

    Gave it a tap and it shut the water off and switched the boiler down. Now it wont open properly and you have to give the lever assistance to open up. Then it buzzes its head off. Guess I will have to replace this. Is it called a zone valve? Are they easy enough to fit?

    Hi, I have a baxi wm 38/rs back boiler. Up until yesterday it was working fine. Now the heating wont switch off. I have even tried disconnecting the timer switch incase it was faulty, but it is still running. I now have to switch off the heating circuit to stop it. Any ideas?? Jim

    Boiler kettled last week and shut down. Checked water flow and found that the pump was jammed. Replace the pump next day. The burner now fires up and runs for a couple of minutes(pilot light remains lit) Then it just shuts down and won't restart for about half an hour. Bled all the water...
