if venturi is red it requires changing to white/brown also wromg size restrictor ring above fan can also be problematic dont attempt if you are unskilled inthis area of work

you dont mention what model however did the plumber check the expansion vessel this is the first check that should be done

what sort of boiler/system do you have?

the likely cause is either the heating sensor which when defective can still operate heating but upset hot water mode [ my most common fault on modenas] or you have the wrong restrictor ring fitted above fan
