try putting the vase in the microwave to melt the wax try 10seconds at a time but keep an eye on how hot the vase gets.

try toothpaste with a toothbrush yes you read right tooth paste. not the gel stuff gently work in then wash make sure you get it all off then buff with a dry cloth. it worked on my silver bracelet and that was almost black.

try putting brown paper over the mark and then iron it on a cool iron. it works on clothes but you put the paper underneath as well.
