Ok that's fine. I don't have any children living in my house and I figure people realize why the lid locks and to know better than to disable the safety feature with children living in their house.

The little lever that the lid pushes down so the machine knows the lid is closed broke off! I can try to stick it back on tomarrow when I can get some glue. However, I'm curious. Can I just jerry rig the wires so that the machine always thinks the lid is closed? The machine is a 'heavy duty -...
