    fixing plastic cladding onto polystyrene insulation

    I have insulated a wall with 1" thick polystyrene sheets. I don't want to plasterboard over this but would like to apply plastic cladding, can I glue it on directly or will I need to cut out sections for batons? Suggestions appreciated.
