Hi
I have a:
Biasi 24S wall hung combi boiler.
I've had it for 6 years and its been brilliant!
This week, its developed a bit of a personality and has stopped heating the water for the domestic hot water supply. The heating is working great and the water flow from the hot water taps are fine - just very chilly!
Whilst experimenting with it (as oppossed to beating it stupid), I have discovered:
If I fully open all the hot water taps in the flat, sometimes the boiler D.h.w. system wakes up, ignites and produces loads of hot water for the bath (sometimes).
If the boiler is already ignited and generating hot water for the heating, it will also produce hot water from the tap - so all is not lost just yet.
So I'm guessing it has something to do with ignition thingy and the water flow recognition chappy - maybe they've had a bit of a tiff and stopped talking?
Do you have any suggestions so I can either fix it myself, or so that I can be armed with the right replacement bits and suggestions for someone else in case I become too frustrated with it all - I spend too much time trying to keep my vee-dub on the road to be up to my eyeballs in boiler bits as well as car parts.
Thanks
