Toyota Prius.

Hello,

I was wondering whether anyone has any experience of the Toyota Prius, we are planning on getting one for our small business, it's not going to be used for motorway use it's only for City driving to go and do measurements etc.

How is it in terms of fuel consumption?

What's the reliability like?

How often does it work on electric power?

i had 1 on loan for a week mate, it generally had its engine running full time, but the electric motor assisted on pull off etc. you could overide and work exclusively on electric but the speed was limited,cant remember exectly what to but think it was 30mph?? it wasnt pretty, wasnt that nice inside, felt well built tho- but id say youve really got to want 1- too want 1!! if that makes sense. the comp said it returned 46mpg. if its mpg or enviroment your concerned for- y not go whole hog and have electric car- or if you still want the practicality use bio-diesel
