Hi,

I have taken the wax module part off of the diverter valve and it appears to be faulty. Although the central pin does operate it is weak and leaks what appears to be wax.

Can this component still be obtained without having to replace the entire valve assembly? If so where?

Regards FarmerJo

Don't reply unless you have something useful to say! And I will create as many new postings as I think is necessary.

and get many stupid replys muppet. the whole point of a thread is to keep everything in one place. so that when someone uses the SEARCH they may get an answer to thier prob instead of clogging up the forum with duplicate posts.

Presumably the wax capsule is located in the housing that I removed by undoing the two small allen grub screws.

How is the wax capsule removed from the housing?

On the end of the housing there is a hexagonal feature that looks like a nut but is almost too thin to get a spanner on it. I have tried but not been able to turn it. Should it turn?
