it was originally aluminium. this would then perforate and hopefully the custeomer would have a cod.

any chance of a pic of the corroded part,who is doing the repairs,most engineers shy away from these beasts in square boxes.

thanks everyone for advice given . boiler now working perfect.
it was maxi potterton who came out turbofan.did say what was wrong with it but cant remember the name. but it was not what bg said . anway did not need a new boiler after all. a big thanks again everyone im now a happy bunny
