I'm looking to tile a 4M x 3M Bathroom.

Looking in B&Q today at some nice Limestone look 600x400 tiles, but £40 a sq metre is a bit rich.

Where should I be looking?

Thanks

try online, bee and queue are cheap but quality usually suffers with them.

I got all mine from Tile Giant matey.

400mm x 400mm travertines at £2.99 each as they are on special offer at
the moment
They look lovely on the floor and walls. Thing is you will have to get
yourself a wet wheel cutter to cut them as they are 12mm thick but they
do cut with ease.

But i didnt need many for my bathroom as its only small, if your doing a
bathroom on your scale (50 odd Sqm) your better going direct to the warehouse for natural stone.

I found Stoneworks in Brailsford, Derbyshire to be very cheap.

They do online quotes and will get back to you within the hour.

B&Q do a Plasplugs cutter for about £55, there are others but this is the
one my tiler had.

cheers

you seem to have a lot of advice today!

think about what your saying to people, i could say, parkside tiles down the road from me is excellent for some things and not others, but the guys who dont live near me wouldnt find it useful!

nice to see newbies on the site tho ever ready to give advice and help out where possible, welcome

Yeah sorry about that was a bit blonde off me I didn't realise the people on here were from all over the place but like you said i am new to this lol, but don't worry i will learn by this mistake. Sorry my advice was no good to you but it was meant with good intentions.......... :D

Topps are as good as any for a 'High Street' outlet. Where ever you go on the High Street or retail park attempt to barter for a deal - don't accept the 'ticket price'.

We've found www.wallsandfloors.co.uk to be really good on price & delivery. Got a load of Quarry Tiles from them (4 pallets) plus all the fancy edge ones as well, promptly delivered. No other supplier could get near them on price.
