I would like to move a radiator across the room (a couple of metres), a friend told me there are some plastic pipes you can buy (instead of having to solder copper pipes), apparently they screw in to each other.

Does anyone know where I can get some of these pipes?
Are they safe to use?
Are they easy to fit?
They sound ideal for a DIY person, are they as good as they sound?

Many thanks in advance.

They are not "screw fit" they are "push fit" and on the "push fit" connector there is a screw cap to tighten once pushed in just for extra security.

Just letting you know before you go to the merchants and ask for some screw fit plumbing fittings.

:)
