In our kitchen, we have a nasty 4 swtich connection unit on one wall just above the worktop. 2 of the 4 switches are spare, the 3rd is marked Dishwasher and the 4th Fridge. Under the worktop on the wall, the 2 in-use switches feed 2 separate un-switched sockets into which the Dishwasher and Fridge are plugged in.

I want to use the other 2 spare sockets, but in doing so, I want a much nicer 4-way connection unit. However, I can't find one!! I've searched a load of websites, but CUs only seem to come in single switch, fused or unfused, with or without a red light.

Can anyone shed any light on multi-switch CUs? Are they still allowed under building regs? If they are, can anyone let me know where I can buy one from? Thanks for any advice.

An electrical wholesaler will be able to get all the parts you require to match the rest of your switches and sockets etc.

Here's a nice brushed stainless steel one I fitted recently

Yep t'was a crabtree :D

The wall wasn't *entirely* my fault, and it is level. Just a trick of the camera

The camera never lies!
I would have to take that fitting off, and skim the wall then put it back.
