It was an off the cuff remark said without malice.
Perhaps it was not the best thing to say given the circumstances, but that is no excuse to resort to petty name calling.

The genuine man has held his hands up an apologized, and I personally think that shows a much greater depth of character than, say, someone who just throws out insults when they hear something they disagree with.

I'm sure if SS had wanted to be mallitious he could have posted any number of jokes which are currently going round about her.

I didn't see the remark, and it doesn't matter.
I'd like to say no one has been more affected by cancer than me.
that just not true.

we tend to be very sensitive about the disease that will not speak its name.

no one likes it do they yet 1 in 3 of us will get it, believe me

people think not talking about will make it dissapear

sorry life doesnt work like that.

this is the 21st centuary, get used to it.

WDIK, just to set the record straight from my point of view.............

securespark made a pretty crass remark about a young mother who is obviously in her last days. I thought it was cr*p, and his later posts struck me as disingenuous. If I'm wrong I apologise, but his posts don't read to me as though I am. So I said my piece and I really don't care what the likes of rflighting or anyone else may think.
She happens to be dying of cancer, but that wasn't the issue, it could be any other deadly disease. No one is complaining because the dreaded c word was brought up, so if that's what motivated your post you have the wrong end of the stick.

First of all Soggy I think this is the complete wrong way to go about things, you have broadcasted to the whole forum of what securespark said. Why didn't you PM him? He obviously didn't mean it as you thought, because the picture I posted that ss made the comment on, did infact have hair on it's head.

Sooey, I'm sure you have made fun of people in the past who are less fortunate, and if you deny it, it's a blaitent lie.

If it makes you feel any better securespark, I was thinking the same thing for the reason of the pig face and big lips, before you even posted.

Some people need to toughen up a bit.
