Hi All,

I have a problem with the pump running when the controller is in a timed OFF period. This started about a year ago and was intermittent (once or twice a month), it now happens about 4 to 5 times each week.

To get over this I flip the "Heating Advance" button on and off until the pump goes off. The pump stays off until the controller reaches an ON period.

The controller is a Lifestyle LP522. The boiler is a Worcester Dansmoor floor standing oil fired.

Any ideas,

Happy Harry

if the end switches were sticking the boiler would fire up, I would check the pump overrun stat ,

Thank you Picasso,

One thing I don't understand. Why does the pump stop if I keep flicking the advance button on and off (a few times)?
