Installing kitchen, when to call gas man and electrician?

I'm going to gut the old kitchen and call the electrician to update the sockets and put in a new CU. Also get the gas man out to do the pipe work to the new hob. At this point can I get them to install "easy" plugin points for electric oven, cooker hood and the gas hob that I can connect myself?

Or would I have to call them out again after I've assembled the baseunit with the oven and hob?

Thanks in advance!

Actually I think I can get the electrician to do FCUs for the oven and hood and then I can wire into them.

You will need more than an FCU for an oven, cooker switch above worktop and proper connection plate below.

Your hob will need to be fitted by Gas man as you can't use flexi hose and bayonet on fixed appliance.
