About to install a real wood floor on a sub floor

I'm really concerned in case it has to come back up for any reason.

Carpenter say glueing it down is the way forward.

Gas main is under there, central heating and wiring.

Is there a preferred method, making it easier to pull back up if necessary?

I know secret nailing is an option? how about glueing to plyboard?

Maybe i'm worried about nothing.........

why dont you embed a hatch into your floor

Lets start with the measurements of the wood floor you plan to install (floroboards? if so how wide, thick, long are the boards?)

Then - how often did you up to this moment have to get to the wires and pipes?

And like Mattysupra says: get your insurance up to scratch.

Sorry the response has been so long, had set my mind on the bonding down method, but now as fitting is imminent, having second thoughts....

The room measures about 4.5m x 4.5m, new T&G boards will be laid onto pine floorboards which are 170mm wide.

New T&G boards are 150mm wide and 19mm thick.

Do you plan to install your new boards in the same direction as the old? Best is to install them perpendicular to avoid effect of any cupped old boards. Is that's not possible (for whatever reason) you first have to install hardboard or even plywood on the existing floorboards.
Then lay foam underlayment and install your new boards. Our How to glue T&G boards the correct way article might help
