There has been some chatter on the wireless about the current Big Brother series being the last and that the show is to finish.

HOORAH!

I can not stand reality t.v. and wish all others would follow suit.

....or East Enders (depressing)........or Emmerdale Street.......or Dancing on Come.

Rant over.

I heard that the production company are already contracted to do BB11 which will be next year but that that will be the last. I watched the first few series many years ago but when they started just auditioning for the most (i would say freakish) interesting people it became less appealing to me - think they tried too hard. I'm extremely happy to say i've seen less than 30minutes of this series!

just gave the Mrs the bad news,but she says there will definetly be another series next year, :D so ill be left alone brilliant. :D

Bother and fiddlesticks!

It is a real pity that the current generation of young tele watchers are having to endure such drivel. Their formative years are being polluted by the pants they put on the box, leading them to actually believe that people like Jade Goody are heroes.

No dis' to Jade but doctors, soldiers, pioneers in surgery, engineering etc, are more deserving, surely.
 
im sure this is just a publicity stunt, next series will be billed as the last get extra viewers then they will doa suprise announcement for the new one the year after
 
This would be good news, except for the probability that in its place will come a TV format that's even more depressingly dumbed down.

I feel exactly the same, apart from 'i'm a celebrity jungle thingy bob', which I will admit I try and watch because I do think its funny.

Any other reality show just gets turned over in my house
