Pulsacoil2000 boiler-Does it have a water heater associated?

Hi,

I'm trying to take out insurance for my pulsacoil2000 boiler with British gas in the flat that i rent out but they can only insure this electric boiler if there is a water heater associated with it. Does anyone know if it does?

They are asking if it is heated by a gas boiler or just electric immersion elements.

How do you operate the hot water and what happens ie does a boiler kick in or is it just the electric elements.

Pulsacoil is Electric only, it's an electrically heated heat store

You can take out a contract with Gledhill - it's quite good value.

is the pulsacoil 2000 still supported by Gledhill? I know that after they "restarted" the company they took the oportunity to drop suport for some models.
