Alan Carr, who switched on The Lights last night may regret his interview.

"Last time I was here me and Lionel Blair saved a man's life. He was hanging off the pier saying he wanted to die and we went over and pulled him off".

:eek: :eek: :eek:

"And do you know what, he was ever so thankful."

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Would you fancy being "pulled off" by him and Lionel Blair?

Not surprisingly, there were no reports of anyone hanging off the pier last night. :LOL: :LOL: :LOL:

Alan Carr is a disgrace.... how he's a tv personality, i will never know !
Talentless! pointless! IMHO!

He is one of the camp personalities that I actually get on with. He is very funny IMO. Not like Graham Norton. He is a berk. Not seen anything of him lately thankfully. Maybe Ch4 saw sense.

Maybe they should have said he 'turned the lights on'.

Years ago we used to say. "Don't stand near the edge of the platform because when the train goes by it'll suck you off".

Agreed! He doesn't go overboard with the filth like Norton does. It gets tiresome after a while hearing gay people bang on about sex. Alan Carr's stand up shows are quite funny but I don't think he's worthy of his own talk show. Problem is there's too many channels these days and they've gotta fill it with something.

I remember the mythbusters gave this one a try

The bottom line is that it doesn't suck you off per-se but it could well knock you off your feet and depending on how you are standing you could then end up falling towards the train.

I bet you were stiff after standing there all that time.

And they keep on telling us to save power, turn off the tv at night because that stanby light is polluting the earth and melting the poles they say.

then you get this place with a million light bulbs blazing away for 66 days
WHATS GOOING ON?
