I have built a pair of four brick piers at the front of my house 900mm x 900mm. I am struggling to find anything to cap the piers with. Suppliers don't seem to make anything big enough. Is there anyone who knows of a supplier or any trade secrets of to how I could acheive a smart finish without having to have something specially commisioned. I realise I could make a brick capping but would prefer not to.

Many thanks

you could try some rustic looking paving slabs 450x450 side by side these can be quite effective, point the joints and paint with waterseal to seal the top

your best bet is to lay a brick on edge.if the bricks are commoms you can use the flat edge on the outside edge.if they are engineering bricks you could buy some coloured powder or liquid additive to your mix and fill the holes in.or you can buy a patio slab near the size and cut one edge off.putting the cut edge at the most descrite side.hope this helps. simon the builder
