I'll be the most embarrased one then
A plastic pig - I HAD passed my bike test but not car test and was recently married for the 1st time. It was carp

Me at 17 (blimey, 12 years ago!) with my first car:

What I love about the pic is that I'm trying to look so "cool" despite the car clearly being a heap of sh*t! Even the door handles don't match!

If I remember rightly, it cost £60 with a couple of months MOT and went directly to the scrappy after that!

robin reliant :D actually the first legal one  renault 4 with dashboard gearstick was first

One of these - Frazer Nash Metropolitan  Everyone said it was a 'girly car', but at least it was a set of wheels

Given to me by a slightly eccentric aunt. 3 speed column change - that stuck in 2nd gear when taking it home for the first time. Had to carry a little wrench around to tap the gear linkage back in place :D

Even had a fitted radio - valve model took forever to warm up. Eventually became a bit of a rust bucket so I sold it for £45

Morris Minor - part of successful family ploy to get me off mo-bikes around mid 60's...

ford escort mark 3 i think,

sh*tty brown cost about £400 and went down the knackers yard not long afterwards

one of those was my second car!

I had a Datsun 120Y P reg which was brill at first and drove beautifully but the enevitable rust soon became evident as the Datsuns were terrible in those days.

They used to come with a boot full of Isopon in those days!

1989 H Nissan Micra H299 SUA, no longer registered. Gearbox caved in, guess its too much to spend on a car only worth scrap.
then
2002 02 Fiat Punto, which I smashed up, insurance write off, someone's running it now.
then
2003 53 Ford Fiesta, nowt wrong with it, great drive. Still registered. :D

Morris marina.

The only thing holding it together was rust. I used a pair of neck ties to hold the gear stick in.

If you had to pump the brakes the car stalled as the servo demanded too much, so you had to pull on the choke to give it rev's.

The handbrake was useless.

What a pile of garbage.

Wolsley 14/40 [ I think ] Falling apart black exterior but wonderfull red leather interior, cost me a tenner and every few miles it would just pack up, the solution was to open the boot and whack the petrol pump with the starting handle, what a beast! Front bench seat could tell some stories too ;)

Faded sky blue MK 2 Cortina 1.3L, no heater or handbrake. Could fit 3 suitcases in the engine bay there was so much room.

Mk2 Escort 1.3 popular Plus. (Sold by owner after causing the death of a child in Swindon in 1982, I got rid of it soon after!!!).

Silver MG Metro, A Reg, Floor fell out driving to Aldershot!

Fiat Tipo 1.7. Electronic Dash. Lovely Car.!

Mk3 Vauxhall Astra.

Ace car. Ended up selling it to my apprentice.

Then had an old shape C class Mercedes.

Had a bit of a bump in that one.
