Hi all

Do you know if anyone makes a thermostatic monobloc bath shower mixer (deck-mounted, not floor-standing)? There are plenty of non-thermostatic monobloc bath shower mixers out there, and I've spotted that Hudson Reed do a thermostatic monobloc bath mixer but - darn it - it doesn't have a shower diverter.

Anybody seen one of these?

Thanks

Never seen one, there must be something available though. Can I ask the reasons why you would want one?

Bathstyle and Seco ... I've looked on the websites of all the usual suspects: Mira, Grohe, Ideal Standard, Bristan etc , as well as googling , but nothing. Obviously there are plenty of non-thermostatic monobloc mixers, as well as plenty of two-hole thermostatic mixers, but nobody seems to make a thermostatic monobloc (bath-shower) mixer.

The bath at the moment has an ordinary monobloc bath shower mixer with single lever control of flow and temperature. Pressure of 1 bar on hot and cold supplies (third floor flat in converted Victorian schoolhouse). Temperature control is very difficult though, partly because the flow has to be manipulated as well (combi boiler) to get a decent showering temperature. So I thought that a thermostatic monobloc mixer would be the most straightforward replacement (I think the boiler is fully-modulating but I need to check that).

Another option I considered was to drill a couple of new holes and install a standard two hole deck-mounted thermostatic mixer. However, I don't think there's enough space between the tiled wall and the roll of the bath.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
Matt

Thanks gday. However, I'm looking for a solution that will preserve variable temperature control.
