Goldberg, dont fit roomstats then to the installations that you do not fit anyway, as you are not an installer, we don't give a toss

Well you certainly gave the impression of giving quite a few tosses, since you've been debating it for some time.

However, if you don't care, that's fine - feel free to ignore me.

I'm happy to carry on warning readers that you and your flock of sheep are giving out wrong information, and that you're doing it because you can't bear to admit that you believe everything you're told, without questioning or seeking justification of things that are blatantly untrue.

We certainally do not believe what we are told, that is why we totally ignore everything you have to say.

So seeing as you know everything, the regulations do state a boiler interlock MUST be provided, if you say a room thermostat is not required, how would you comply for the need of an interlock

OK. I don't see the point of your subsequent question, if you're going to ignore the reply, but I'll reply anyway.

Actually, the Building Regulations say no such thing - you've been duped again.

ok, ignore the regulations for a moment, how would you provide a boiler interlock

Is that some kind of joke?

You, amongst others, have been berating me for more than 10 pages, and you think you can just cast aside the regulations just to get the answer to an irrelevant technical question?

It doesn't work like that. I asked the two questions way back on page 9, and I did it politely. Since you're unable to admit that you've all been wrong, and that there is no law that requires either a room thermostat or that an installer holds an EE certificate, then I have nothing else to say to you.

This is totally relevant, you say that the regualtions do not say a room stat is required, so I am saying what would you do then for boiler interlock, just admit if you don't know

i think you need to double check what I have said, tell me where I have said that you need EE, or where I have said you need a room stat to comply with building regulations, I have said that you need a room stat as a boiler interlock, by your statements you seem to think a room stat is not required, so I ask again, how would you provide boiler interlock

guys
there are reasons why trolls continue to exist and you are providing everything he needs.
the oxygen of response

My wife is a boiler interlock...when it is too hot indoors, she turns the heating off. When it is too cold, she sets the room stat to 30 degrees.....
