welsh &english channels

hI This is my first post.At the moment i recieve anologe reception from the long mountain transmiter(Welsh) and wrekin (English).I have 2 aerials outside but when i plug in the freeview box in i seem to get the wrekin reception no welsh.Will it be possible to recieve digital reception from both transmiters after changeover.Do i need 2 digital aerials or have i got to go for freesat any orther ideas many thanks.

The problem with a freeview receiver is that it will tune into the strongest signal and I think the wrekin's digital multiplexes are stronger than long mountain.

If your freeview box has a manual tuning facility you can tune it to long mountain manually by entering the frequencies of the mux's and storing them.

See here for more info, also long mountain requires a vertically polarised aerial (i have set up freeview for someone in Newtown.) but as long mountain is a local relay you won't receive all the channels that you would on the wrekin[/url]
