Is my adhesive going to be OK?

Started laying my insualtion boards today with flexible adhesive, but didn't realise the mixture was way too sloppy until half the job was completed.However, the boards have set well with no 'bounce' underneath them. Also, the sloppy adhesive has dried hard so I'm assuming that's a good sign (?)

thats ok mate. Now carry on with your job, just check consistency of adhesive in future lol

Thanks for your re-assurance. I laid a few more boards later in the day having mixed the adhesive correctly. Trowelling it onto the floor in lovely beaded lines made me realise how stupid I was for mixing it wrong earlier.
