Do you have a preference when it comes to screwdriver bits?

The aforementioned de walt tic-tac boxes, 25 bits for the price of 2 Wera's, the other advantage is that I don't stress about losing them.

I want to buy the Hitachi. The only concern I have is that it is a 10.8v driver, vs the 14.4v of the AEG model. The AEG has a slightly higher rpm and bpm, while the Hitachi (strangely) has a significantly higher torque.
The driver shall be used for drilling minor holes, into wood and driving screws of all sizes. Driving screws will probably be its main use.
The 2 impact drivers are working out at around the same price £75.
Which should I get?

For that extra bit of umpf then the AEG as its 14.4v as opposed to 10.8v. Both are 1.5ah batteries so will last as long as each other. The price is right and the choice is yours, trick one though 
the extra uuummmf is because its lower geared you could make a 1volt tool give you the power off a 230volt tool but the 30 min wait whilst it drives a 4 inch screw in would be boring

So what you are saying is that the Hitachi, although lower voltage, will give higher torque, because it is going to turn slower. This means that the 14.4v tool should drive screws in faster than the 10.8v unit.
Right?
Also, I've been reading up on Hitachi and it seems they are held in quite high regard. Panasonic seem to make the absolute best drills.
AEG seem to be very similar to Milwalkee. I think they are use the same factories for manufacture so their tools are very similar in spec.

Hitachi twinset wins for me! Those 10.v li-ion do have some serious grunt.
I wouldn't worry about other tools that might need the same batteries, you'll have an all-in self contained drilling and driving kit, but they also have a reciprocating saw, torch and angle driver which take the same batteries.
You won't need to worry about an extra chuck or buying more expensive hex drill bits, you can have one loaded up for piloting, one for driving (to avoid changing bits every 30 seconds) But the main reason is that you suggest that the tool may not get used for several months. Your nicads will have gone flat by then, the li-ion batteries will be as fresh as when you last used them.

I was up all night last night reading up on tools, as there really wasnt much to separate the Hitachi and the AEG. In the end, what swung it for me was the reviews of the product. The AEG hardly had any reviews, so I didn't want to take the risk.
Also, reading up on various forums, Hitachi seems to have a very good reputation.
I managed to snag the Hitachi twin set for £99 (after using a 10% voucher which screwfix were sending me every week).
AEG at £74, while the Hitachi twin set for £25 extra.
Hitachi wins.
I'll let you know next week how it handles 6x180mm screws.
