Guys,

I have a front door which has dropped after excessive use (building work out the back with no side access).

I have checked the hinges to see if there is any way of adjusting them but can not find any hex slots to make the adjustments.

The door is a solid type door with hardlyt any glass so heel towing doesn;t seem to fit here.

Any ideas how I can get the door aligned again, it's getting to the stage where it's almost impossible to shut as the locks no longer line up.

I have attached pictures of the hinges.

Hmmmm, when you open the door can you see a 2 big phillips screws on each hinge? Only visible when the door is open.....like these....

If so these are for side to side adjustment, if you turn them you'll see the door move. Adjust so the bottom hinge pushes the door away from the frame (on the hinge side) then on the top hinge adjust so it pulls the door closer to the frame (on the hinge side)

This moves the door in the frame just like toeing and heeling

:)

Thanks mate. That's the exact same hinge as I have, however the top ones are already all the way in and the bottom ones are all the way out.

Ah ok then, plan B......open the door to 90 degrees, get on your knees and cup your hands under the door and lift, if it creeks on its rubbers then its lifted a bit but this is a temp measure. Unfortunately i dont thinks theres any up and down adjustment on those hinges......unless the 3 screws that screw to the door are elongated, check!

Also can you show a picture of the complete door, how come it cant be toe and heeled?
