double kitchen cupboard

just got into my new house. how much should it cost very roughly to pull out a double cupboard under the sink and turn it in to a single to put my dishwasher in.. many thanks in advance

I would suspect that the worktop would require to be lifted for the single unit to go into place.
This may be a pain without lifting out the worktop but can be done and I would assume you would be looking in the region of 250 pounds for the job.
Having said that there are many people out there that would do it for less but best left to the professionals. Get a few quotes and work one of the other.

Impossible to say , you don't say what size the existing unit is, there may be pipework or other obstructions where the w/m is to fit that may require the removal of other units [if indeed you have any] may require electrical work etc. etc.
 
a photo of the offending unit would be a good starting place..
can't see it, can't quote it is the old addage...
same goes for advice..
can't see it, can't know what pitfalls might hinder it..
