hi all,
need to know if i can remove my large 4000btu rad in the centre of my wall and replace for two 2000btu rads in each corner of the same wall.

it is a 10mm microbore system and i need to know if i can do a loop with the existing drops, with the flow feeding the left or right rad first, then conect that rad to the oppisite rad, and then connecting in to the return flow, which i think is called a one pipe system.or maybe i could do a 2 pipe system.

i have read you cannot t off to another rad on microbore but i am spliting the rads so not sure if i can.

the reason i need to know this is because i dont fancy lifting loads of chipboard flooring to find the manifolds which could be any where. and want to keep time and cost down but still do the job right.

kind regards
dean

we used to do loads of these type with 2 small rads so you need to connect 1/2 m/iron to 15 mm copper addaptors to the top and bottom
of each rad times 4 at the middle so connecting them together with 15 mm copper
then feed your micro bore flow/return to the bottom of one end and the other end as normal

best of luck mick
