after reading the 'using british gas' post on ere the nite.i found this out.

In Scotland there is a 3 tier fixed price repair trial going on, £99, £168 and £250 threabouts, I found this out from my buddy at BG. IT is up to the engineer who turns up to decide and if not accepted, no fix no fee. price depends on if it is a 30,30-120,120+ mins job.

In Engerlund it is still 168 but i bet it will end up being rolled out down south of the border,

with the handbags/keyboards at dawn between some ppl nickso,DM, paul from BG just clarifying it as some of these guys may be north of the border and work for SG.

Many nimble minds will see that becomes £84 per hour.

Now £84 just happens to be our standard fixed price diagnostic fee! I wonder if BG have been reading these forums and matching what we charge ( albeit on a two times basis for two hours! ).

Whilst those prices seem reasonable enough there is not much meat there to pay for expensive parts like a new Response PCB.

Not from me pal i don't compete and have never worked for them but i know a few "quality guys" who work for them

I hadny heard, no wonder you are pi$$ed off, F*^%in falkirk,....bad tae worse. All i've heard today is about how Keane always wanted to play for Celtic. At £1M for 15 games no wonder

Just looked up the result of Killy v Celtic £65,000 down the drain tonight for Keane

Whit did they expext/ If he was that good do you think Spurs would have let him go when they are chasing 4th
