Evening.

I am about to re do the shower cubicle. Currently we just want to put up some plain white tiles and then re do the whole bathroom next year.

I guess that I would be best to use Marine Ply rather than aquapanel if the tiles are going to come done in a year or so. Any comments/suggestions?

I don't want an alternative to tiles such as tile boards, it needs to be tiles.

if you use ply of any sorts in a shower area, the tiles "will" be off the wall but a lot sooner than you think!!!

re-board with a backer board sealing "all"joints or use m.r. plasterboard with a tanking membrane.

if not, it wont just be the bathroom you will be working on in a years time ere mate!!

the previous cubicle had been done just in plasterboard so it's all come down. I think i'm going to go with aquapanel and then take it down again in a years time if we want to  I'll try to convince her not to ;)
