Boiler Noise upon increase water temp

Hi

Please can anyone tell me why my boiler (traditional) makes a whirring noise if I turn up the water temperature, thermostat ranges from 0-6, currently only on 2 but if turn it up to 3 in order to get hotter water it makes a noise I can best describe as whirring

Would need more info I'm afraid.... combi? gravity h/w? y-plan? s-plan?.... back boiler? make? model???

Any info you can provide on the system it's self really???

'Kettleing'. The name describes it all. The hotter the water inside the Heat Ex, the more the noise as your heat ex is in fact a bigger kettle 'element'.
What does you kettle sould like when it gets hot?
