edging laminate worktop strip

Hi,
chosen a laminate worktop and need to order an edging strip to go with with it. Been looking around and have come across two that match the worktop - one is HPL (laminate) and the other is PP (polypropylene.) Anyone know which is the better one to go for? Which would give the better finish? which would be easier to fit?

PS - whilst on worktops, what's the best thing for sticking the edges on - adhesive or tape? also, what's the best method of trimming the front to get the rounded finish?

I find laminate easier to work with.

I use http://www.ecs-marine-equipment.co....pva-5-minute-super-fast-250ml-item-37863.html which I brush on. I'd then trim the edges with a sharp stanley or some snips and then use a fine metal file to finish. Then I may use a little wet 'n' dry block.

A good idea would be to cut a piece to fit then flatten it out before fixing as it will arrive rolled up and unless you've the patients to sit there holding it or have suitable clamps.
