Its an ideal mini mate,they were specifically designed not to work...on a serious note of the limited symtoms uve given me I would say a dicky flow switch 
what have you done?????? have you even took the case off yet! need little more info, could be phx,thermister,dhw flow switch.

I have no doubt that you are registered. Thats not the point. Those questions from a registered engineer should be asked in the CC.

I think the point that is trying to be made ???? is with ref to your original post , as a profesional perhaps something a little more helpful . thought out might have been useful ,something along the lines of what's the boiler doing , what fault light's are on , does the neon on the flow switch light up , does the boiler fire & go out instantly , is the water warm but not hot ,
ect ect , as opposed to your original post !!!
