Its not one of those 'best mate' things is it? As in its really you but you don't want to say it is?

Bit odd if it is

How do u mean assessment , is it an acs type thing , I've got a best mate , who might be interested as well .

like i said before i would not work for bg full.

this is for a dipstick best mate who hasn't had the fine pleasure of being bullyed, sell this an that, your fix rate is down, your not selling enough,

Basic fault finding, use of a multimeter and ACS stuff i believe. Oh and they require you to hand over your soul.

............ and we wont be drawn into the arguement of only fitting Ideal boilers then
I have been a subby with BG on and off for about 8 years now.
OK, so you have to put up with their PC holyier than thou attitude, but at the mo, they pay me - they could increase the hourly rate by lots, but I doubt if that will happen. In these hard times, it's a job, not the best, but still income

If it were £32/hr for 7 hours a day and five days a week and for 46 weeks in the year then thats over £50k a year.

That sounds a good pay rate!

You`ll never see a BG fitter work 7 hours a day   6 @ most. What the test will need to know is the level of incipient indolence of the testee:cool: That`s why there is a bullying culture. Them and Us just like before it all went private

BG are offering contractors £65/hour for the 31/3/2010 shift!! The nearer it gets to the strike date, the higher the offer. So tell your bestie mate to wait a week or so, Ideal son!!!

the test will be ALL safety, ie TT procedure, remember check manometer, zero it out, carefully monitor results, vents, flues, unsafe sits, basic electric isolation, i always advocate the CYA school of thought, but for the duration of the test think about C"BG"A as thats what they want, good luck from what i rwead here he will need it
