...well in all honestly, when you were young and the council estates were brand new they probably weren't as old and run down as they are now.
I remember a family member opting out of a house to move to one of these new tower thingies.
However these days they ARE terrible.
Interesting sideline, genetic research in the last few years has shown that there may well have been interbreeding between the two species of human during co-existence times...meaning we all have that knuckle dragging DNA in us somewhere.

i agree to a point that a lot of semi detached houses got sold off, but that doesnt mean that the poorer, non working people who couldnt afford to buy a council house and pay rent (or have it paid for them) make the estate any less desirable, just because you are skint doesnt make you undesirable, there are plenty of "developments"
