Hi,

Can anyone help?

Our Worcester 28 CDI RSF Combi boiler is heating our hot water but not the central heating. The pilot light is coming on when we run the hot water, however it doesn't stay on even though the thermostat says the heating is on.

The pressure seems ok, but can anyone give me any ideas what to do?

Evening!

Well firstly, it doesn't have a pilot as such, what you're seeing is the main burner lighting briefly. The boiler must go to a safety lockout of some kind, what do the lights on the facia do when it's lockout out? Do you get some lights flash?

If so, which light/s flash? How fast do the flash? (roughly)

Hi there, it doesn't appear to have any flashing lights, just the on/off light.

When we aren't running the hot water there are no other lights on at all?? I don't understand.......

We are getting hot water and haven't had any problems with that. It is just that the therastat states that that the heating is on, however the light for the heating on the boilder doesn't come on and no heat is generated?

If that heating demand light isn't on then the PCB isn't seeing a demand. It's either be the room stat or clock.

Are you able to do any checks/tests yourself?
