We have a Bosch/Worcester combi boiler 24i.
We currently have no hot water. When we turn on the hot tap, the burner comes on as normal but after 10-20 seconds it goes off. Then goes on and off, on and off. Therefore it is not staying on long enough to heat the water.

Please can anyone help? Any advice/tips/suggestions would be gratefully received.
Thank you.

I had a similar problem about a year ago with my Saunier Duval. Turned out the fault was with the hot water Heat Exchanger. I took it apart, and descaled the heat exchanger using some cheap descaling solution i brought from Tesco. It seemed to do the trick as i got hot water for a few months.

However my hot water stopped again during the cold winter which was a bit of a disaster. and too cold to get it fixed myself as my boiler is in the shed.

I'm assuming it may be the same issue with yours. However not too familier with your boiler so i could be wrong.

Thanks IronNaz

When I put the heating on, the water did eventually get hot (took longer than normal, going warm then luke-warm several times along the way) so the good news is I've had a bath.

Please can anyone suggest anything I can try myself to fix this, or do I just have to call out an engineer?

Thanks in advance.
