vista print will do you 200-250 for free (you pay about £3 for P&P) loads of designs etc, only down side is they send you emails every week offering different deals (hardly a major prob to be honest) some of their other deals are sound as a pound

Yes, I use Vista too. If you already have your card designed and on a format of file type/size that is acceptable to them, then they can print your cards for a fraction of high st printers.

I took me a couple of attempts to get my design file to produce what I wanted, but then I'm a bit of a computer dunce.

When you think that you have got your design on their site, I recommend that you use their facility to get a proof copy sent to your email. You know exactly what you're getting then.

I get a daily marketing email from them, but its not really a problem. Small price to pay for what they have saved me over the years.

Another vote for Vista.

I got 1000 cards, on premium card, with my own design on for about £28 including delivery.Took about 5 days to come through.
They are also good for other stationary items.

A word of warning when going for the free vistaprint cards...they say vistaprint on the back and are very thin and feel cheap.

I have had a load of these come through the door from various local tradesmen who have taken up vistaprint on their generous offer. In my opinion a cheap feeling card like this, along with the anonymous generic designs and quotes like 'no job too big or small' will only make you look like a cheapskate.

Why not get a local design company to do you a logo and stationary package. Ok the initial outlay will be higher but you will end up with a professional looking business card and letterheads for your quotes/invoices etc. You will also end up with a personal logo that can be used in the future for vehicle livery, adverts etc which will save you on further design/setup costs when the time comes.

A professional image will likely win you a few jobs, allow you to add perceived value and can even help you to get paid on time.
