Eucalyptus Tree Problem?

I have a mature 40ft eucalyptus tree which over the past 2 years has shed all its bark, and it is regularly shedding its leaves which turn reddish brown. The leaves only seem to drop during the summer as my lawn remained clear of leaves during the winter. Is there a problem with this tree?

..the shedding of leaves is normal for evergreen trees and shrubs, during Spring and Summer, they all shed leaves from time to time after turning reddish brown, nothing wrong with that.
The shedding of bark is also a natural phenomena with Eucalyptus as with some other trees and is often an attraction with these trees.
I can't see anything wrong there really, my main concern for you would be that I hope the tree, at 40 foot, isn't planted too close to anyone's house, their roots can be troublesome, and they are not totally wind hardy.

Lorena, thanks for the info. Two years ago another eucalyptus was blown down which fortunately only damaged fence panels. My existing tree to which I referred previously is at the bottom of my garden, which has obviously been subjected to heavy winds when young as the main trunk has grown at an angle almost 40 degrees from vertical. If is sited adjacent to a boundary wall and should it fall it will be my lawn and wall which will take the hit.
