Is there a way to do this?

Basically a ceramic sink has been installed on a natural stone(travertine I believe - maybe Jerusalem Stone) top on a vanity unit.

It was done last week - at least three days ago

Would heat do it? Hairdryer perhaps?

Thanks in advance

isn't gripfill a solvent based adhesive? sets by evaporating the solvent in the glue?

Depends which gripfill was used, also comes solvent free, heat will only help adhesion, I would apply even pressure from below sink with timber and run a scalpel round increasing pressure as gap increases until it is released and then cut away residue.Silicon would have been a better choice for sealing and fixing sink.

Thanks for all the above.

Gripfill was the solvent based.

The sink is 2ml out apparently - agreed - silicone would have been a better option - then seal afterwards - 2 jobs covered by one mastic

Exactly - geezers a precision engineer - manufactures car parts and designs show rooms as well. Attention to detail is baffling. Anal to the point of insomnia.

He's asked for a new central heating system in a newly acquired property - my plumber said his piece - ie F.O.

Thanks for the replys all - will let know the outcome
