Hello, hope someone can help.

First question is I've bought a BnQ sink and the sink doesn't sit well on the pedestal. Whats the best way to fill the gap between the two. My dad recommended window putty but it doesn't seem to want to set. Would plain old silicone be ok?

Second
I've got a potterton Performa 24 ECO HE boiler and whilst re-pressurising it today the connection between the Diverter Manifold and plate heat exchanger manifold blew apart. It would seem a screw securing the Diverter to the appliance bracket is missing which allows it to move forward and break the seal. Any idea's where I can get these screws? Whole parts seem easy to get.

Thanks :)

I'd take the sink back. B&Q can give you another. (If they have any more that are still intact that is....)

The screw holding the plate heat exchanger onto the manifold is a long machine screw, either M4 or M5.

Thanks everyone,
Petit_pablo, the screw i'm missing actually holds the diverter manifold to the lower bracket in the boiler. The part i'm thinking is the plate heat exchanger is also connected to this bracket. The diverter and heat exchanger aren't actually screwed/fastened together directly. Would it still be this same type of screw? Ta for pointing me in the right direction.

Will still be a machine screw, just a shorter one.

Nothing holds the plate onto the manifold except the two screws, one at each end.

The manifold ( or hydroblock as we usually call them ) are held onto the lower cross chassis member by what is probably a short M6 screw.

The plate HE is held onto each manifold by a screw at either side which keeps the sealing rings pressurised.

The rear of the diverter has a female opening which is sealed by another "O" ring onto a male spligot which I think is part of the LH hydroblock.

That last joint is not very well designed as I remember that I had a problem with one not sealing the first time because the tolerances do not cause the male to penetrate the female far enough.

Thanks again, i've still not got it sorted as been doing other things. Will soon tho i hope
