I've had a Hotpoint Aquarius wdl520 washer dryer for about 18 months now and up until a couple of days ago it was working good as gold. Then last Friday I placed a load in the drum switched it on and half way through the cycle it stopped and all the lights on the front panel started flashing, i.e. 1,2,3,4 and start. I took the back off to have a look at the sump and it was clear. Took the top off to have a look at the pcb and everything appeared to be in order. I'm just baffed  . Read the error codes for the WF541 and it look like the main heater box? Can anyone help please? Hotpoint have told me they can help but it will cost me £104 just to get someone to look at it.

Pcb faulty will cost you 80quid plus to program it. Or hotpoint will supply and fit for 104 that's your best bet.

Thanks for the quick reply. I was hoping it wasn't going to be that, but looks like I'll have to bite the bullet.

Thanks guys, you've both been great. Unfortunately it does look like I'll have to get someone out. All the best
