I appreciate I wont be able to plunge the drainage, but are the dimensions of both the same or do I need to buy a different model for each i.e. to give longer reach etc?

Sink taps should be high level to comply with water regs

What do you mean - high level? Never heard of this
I think he means the spout should be above the spill over level of the basin /sink . Some old original Victorian taps dipped into the basin . Not seen one for years  . Even if you had a pair - or globe taps on a bath - a check valve on each supply would comply  MONO bath Tap  like a hot one and a cold one separate :?: YES they will - I have bath taps on both my bath and Vanity Unit "sink" in the bathroom . Because they were new Old stock Bristan ones @ £ 7 a pair . You can get flexi`s for 3/4 to 15mm copper too.

Don't some bath mono's have bigger holes? Sink ones are 35mm.

Spout has to be 12mm over the spill level.
